Information and catching area

The norwegian spring spawning herring has it ́s main spawning area outside Aalesund in February-March. In September-October the herring is in North Norway where it stays during the winter time. The Norwegian fishing season mainly occurs during the period from October to March when the herring have attained a high quality and are easily accessible.The herring fishing season for the North Sea Herring mainly occurs during summer and autumn.
